What is Absenteeism Rate?
Turkish: Devamsızlık Oranı
The absenteeism rate is a metric that shows the proportion of time employees are absent from work in a given period. A high absenteeism rate can result from factors such as lack of motivation in the workplace, stress, burnout or job dissatisfaction. HR departments can make the work environment more supportive by developing strategies that increase employee engagement to reduce absenteeism. It is also possible to minimize absenteeism with measures such as flexible work models and wellness programs.
