KVKK Privacy Notice
We would like to inform you about Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “KVKK”), which was enacted to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, in particular the privacy of private life, in the processing of personal data, and to set out the obligations of natural and legal persons who process personal data.
Under the Law, personal data is defined as “any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person”, and processing as “any operation performed on data, such as obtaining, recording, storing, retaining, altering, reorganising, disclosing, transferring, taking over, making available, classifying or preventing the use of personal data, wholly or partly by automatic means or, provided that the process is part of a data filing system, by non-automatic means”.
1. Purpose of this Notice and the Position of BİS ÇÖZÜM BİLGİSAYAR VE ENTEGRASYON HİZMETLERİ VE TİC. A.Ş. (“BİS”) as Data Controller
In order to fulfil its duty to inform under Article 10 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data with respect to the personal data of its members, BİS submits the following explanations to the attention of its members and of third parties who use our website and/or mobile applications. BİS reserves the right to update this Privacy Notice and Consent Text at any time in line with changes that may be made to the applicable legislation.
2. Purposes of Processing and Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data is used for the following purposes:
- Verifying the identity details of persons who register via the website/mobile applications,
- Recording the address and other details required for communication,
- Passing your details on to our solution partners associated with the applications that support the module you use,
- Contacting our members, making necessary notifications and informing them about campaigns,
- Preparing all records and documents that will form the basis of transactions in electronic (internet/mobile etc.) or paper form,
- Providing information to public officials upon request and as required by legislation on matters of public security,
- Enabling our contracted institutions and solution partners to make offers to our members, and informing our members about our services,
- Fulfilling our legal obligations and exercising our rights arising from the applicable legislation,
- Preventing fraud and other unlawful activities.
The necessary technical and legal measures are taken to prevent violations of rights during the transfer of data to third parties.
Your personal data may be shared with our direct/indirect domestic/international business partners; the institutions and organisations we cooperate with in order to carry out our activities; the domestic/international persons and institutions from which we receive cloud storage services; the domestic/international organisations we have agreements with for IT and software services; social communication platforms and various domestic and international agencies, advertising companies and survey companies within the scope of announcement and organisational activities carried out to serve you better and ensure member satisfaction; and with other domestic/international third parties and relevant business partners.
The data provided by our members who carry out transactions on the www.plena.pro website or mobile applications is processed by BİS in accordance with the consent of our members and the provisions of the legislation.
Our website www.plena.pro uses cookies. A cookie is a file, mostly consisting of letters and numbers, that is stored in the internet browser or on the hard disk of the device being used and that allows that device to be identified.
The necessary technical and legal measures are taken to prevent violations of rights during the transfer of data to third parties. However, we are not responsible for violations that arise from the data protection policies of the third party receiving the personal data or that occur within the area of risk under that third party’s responsibility.
3. Method of Collection and Legal Basis of Personal Data
The personal data shared by our members who carry out transactions on the www.plena.pro website or our mobile applications may be processed and transferred for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice and Consent Text, in accordance with the consent of our members and the provisions of the legislation.
When you fill in the demo request and contact forms on our website, your full name, business e-mail address, company, job title (optional), number of employees and the product areas you are interested in are processed by BİS in order to respond to your request, schedule a demo and communicate with you about our products, and are forwarded to our sales team (cloudsales@biscozum.com.tr). This data is retained for the time needed to conclude your request and for the statutory retention periods.
4. Rights of Users as Personal Data Subjects
Under Article 11 of the Law, data subjects have the right to:
learn whether their personal data is being processed,
request information if their personal data has been processed,
learn the purpose of processing their personal data and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose,
know the third parties, in Turkey or abroad, to whom their personal data has been transferred,
request the correction of personal data that has been processed incompletely or inaccurately, and request that the correction be notified to the third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,
request the deletion or destruction of personal data where the reasons requiring its processing no longer exist, even though it has been processed in accordance with the Law and other relevant legislation, and request that this be notified to the third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,
object to a result arising against them through the analysis of the processed data exclusively by automated systems,
- claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of the unlawful processing of their personal data.
Requests to exercise these rights may be sent by data subjects to info@plena.pro, to be assessed within the framework of the Policy on the Processing and Protection of Personal Data under Law No. 6698 developed by BİS. BİS will assess and conclude such requests within 30 days.

5. Explicit Consent
By ticking the consent box in the demo and contact forms on our website, you give your explicit consent to the collection, processing and storage of the personal data you share by BİS; to its transfer to/sharing with the institutions, organisations and business partners BİS cooperates with in order to carry out its activities; and to its sharing with third parties in anonymised form. If you do not give consent, the form is not submitted and your data is not processed.
