What is Mediator?
Turkish: Arabulucu
A mediator is a person who manages the process impartially to resolve disputes between parties in the workplace or under labor law. Mediation is an alternative dispute resolution method that helps settle disagreements before going to court. In HR management, the role of mediators is especially important in matters such as termination processes, employer-employee disputes and performance appraisals. By encouraging agreement between the two sides, the mediator speeds up the process and avoids court costs.
