How is it calculated?
- Severance: 30 days of gross pay (including regular benefits) per full year; partial years are pro-rated. At least one year of service is required.
- Cap: the period’s severance ceiling cannot be exceeded. For 1 July–31 December 2026 the ceiling is 73,729.87 TRY.
- Deduction: only stamp duty (0.759%) is deducted from severance.
- Notice: 2 weeks up to 6 months, 4 up to 1.5 years, 6 up to 3 years, then 8. Notice pay is subject to income tax and stamp duty; gross is shown here.
